Rules and Regulations

Terms of Payment and Booking Policies

  • Fifty percent (50%) down payment is required to confirm reservation. Payment can be done by direct or online deposit to Canada Diving and Snorkeling Resort BDO account. Send the copy of the validated deposit slip for confirmation through email: frontdesk@canadadivingandsnorkelingresort.com. Balance must be paid on/or before check-in. Any incidental charges will be paid separated prior to check-out.

  • Payment must be settled at the Front Desk upon check-in or as requested by the Front Desk. 

  • Payment for all Resort services or charges must be made by cash.

  • The Resort does not accept any personal cheque and or credit card.

Note: Rates are subject to change without prior notice.

Cancellation/Rebooking/No show

  • 5-10 days cancellation prior to the reserved date, 50% refund of down payment.

  • Rebooking should be made seven (7) days before the reserved date.

  • Down payment for no-show guests will be forfeited.

 

Requirements

  • All guests are required vaccination card before entering the resort. Rest assured that our staff are also vaccinated and follow health protocols to ensure our safety.

  • For Maasim guests, to avail of your discount, secure Recommendation Letter as proof of residency either from your Barangay Captain, Kgwd. Aldwin Labongan, or Kgwd. Francisco Carnalna.

 

Check-in/Check-out time

  • Check-in time is 2:00 pm, check-out time is 12:00 noon the following day.

  • There will be no adjustment in check-out time if the guest checks-in later than 2:00 pm.

  • There shall be no refund for shortened stays including rooms checked-in and checked-out on the same day.

  • Late check-out will be charged accordingly.

  • Guest who arrive earlier that the designated check-in time may stay at the waiting area at no additional cost.

 

Privacy

  • The security of guests is of prime importance to the Resort. It is committed to protect the guest privacy, the confidentiality and security of personal information provided by guest. The information of the guest provided is necessary to process and confirm the reservation; and may include collecting this information in a personal profile. We may also collect information to allow us to properly process the payment of accounts.

 

The information provided may be used to:

  • Contact the guest in the event of an amendment to any reservations.

  • Create a profile to assist with any further reservations the guest made

  • To inform the guest by email, if the guest has so agreed when registering on our site, of our special offers and promotions that may be relevant to the guests.

The guest information provided may be disclosed to other parties that have a contractual relationship with the Resort like banks and service providers. The Resort may have legal obligations required by law to disclose the guest information provided to the Resort.

 

Safety Precaution and Security

  • The Resort is not responsible for any personal belongings and valuables left unattended in the rooms/cottages. The guests should exercise reasonable caution during vacation and do not leave patio doors open.

  • Avoid generating big fires, do not leave grill unattended. After using the grill, clean it and do not leave trash and debris in receptacles.

  • Flammable substance such as candles and gas for cooking are strictly prohibited inside the rooms.

  • Please inform the Resort Staff before using any electrical outlet inside and outside the room or within the resort premises to avoid accident.

 

Parking

  • Vehicles should be properly locked before leaving the parking area.

  • The Resort shall not be held liable for any loss and or damage on your vehicle.

 

Damage/Loss to Resort Property

  • Guests are financially accountable for any damage or loss to any resort equipment/property, either intentional or accidental. Willful damage of Resort property/equipment will result to payment of damages upon departure.

  • In addition, room keys and remote control are given to guests upon checking-in. Room keys and remote control can be surrendered in the front desk before the departure. The guests are accountable for loss remote control. P800.00 will be charged for lost keys and P700.00 will be charged for lost Remote Control.

Furniture & Fixtures/Equipment’s/Linens

  • Removal/relocation of furniture and fixture and equipment inside/outside the room is strictly prohibited. Guest shall not move fixtures/furnishing or interfere with the electrical connections or any other installations in the hotel rooms or on the resort premises without the consent of the management. Please report any malfunction discovered during stay to the reception.

  • Do not remove beddings and mattresses from rooms unless allowed by the Management.  Lost linens, beddings, pillows and alike will be charged accordingly. Guests may not bring home anything that is owned by the resort, except if it is stated that is a gift for the guests.

 

Alcoholic Beverages/Drugs

  • Alcoholic beverages have a certain corkage fee and may be consumed or allowed only within rented premises or within the resort designated areas. Consumption of alcohol by minors below 18 years of age is prohibited. PLEASE DRINK MODERATELY. Excessive use of alcoholic beverages and open displays of drunk and unpleasant behavior are not permitted and it will result in immediate removal by Resort Management.

  • Possession and/or use of prohibited drug and firearms are strictly prohibited within the resort.

Corkage for food, drinks and tents

  • Food corkage: ₱500 - ₱1,000

  • Drinks corkage: ₱500 - ₱1,000

  • Lechon corkage: ₱300

  • Tent corkage: ₱100

 

Smoking Policy

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms. Guests may only smoke outside the accommodation and are responsible for disposal of waste in proper receptacles. Violators of this policy are subject to an additional minimum ₱5,000.00 fee, which can be increased by Management, will be levied on violators to be paid at the Resort upon departure.

 

Cleanliness

  • Please help keep the beach and resort premises clean and litter-free at all times by disposing or throwing all trash in the designated trash cans.

  • Please refrain from bringing sand into the room. Outside showers for rinsing and faucets for washing are available at designated areas.

 

Pets

  • The Resort maintains a strict no-pets policy on its premises.

 

Maasim Residency Discount

  • To avail the Maasim residency discount, you are to secure Recommendation Letter as proof of residency with signatures either from your Barangay Captain, Kgwd. Aldwin Labongan, or Kgwd. Francisco Carnalna.

Beach Rules

  • Please exercise care and precautions while swimming, the Resort Management shall not be held accountable for any liability arising from improper use of the resort.

  • Proper/appropriate swimming attire must be worn.

  • We urge our guests to wear slippers or any foot apparel on the beach to avoid the usual cuts or bruises caused by the rocks or any sharp objects.

  • Avoid swimming alone. Swim only the waterline or near a manned lifeguard area.

  • For safety of the guests, Please DO NOT SWIM if under the influence of alcohol.

  • All children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Swimming is not allowed during bad weather or when there are turbulent waves.

  • Persons suffering from colds, fever, sore or inflamed eyes, any skin disease or communicable disease or open sores or bandages are prohibited from entering the beach.

  • Pregnant women, elderly persons, persons suffering from heart disease, diabetes or high or low blood pressure should not enter the pool without prior consultation and permission from their doctor.

  • Please obey our lifeguard.

  • Observe all safety regulations.

 

Guest are required to observe the Resort Rules which are designed and aimed for their protection. The management reserves the right to implement additional and applicable rules to regulate the safety and well being of our guest. VIOLATION OF THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN EVICTION WITHOUT REFUND FOR ALL GUESTS.

By booking at Canada Snorkeling and Diving Beach Resort, the guests are deemed to have read, understood and accepted aforesaid Resort Rules. Rules and regulation might change at any time.
